About Verita AI
Uncovering the truth of Verita AI
Verita means “truth” in Latin. That single word captures why the company was founded. Our goal is to bring truth and human judgment to artificial intelligence so models can understand the world with the depth and subtlety of people.
How Verita AI Began
Verita means truth in Latin. That name anchors our founding belief: AI should not just mirror facts, it should reflect human insight, judgment, and taste.
We started Verita AI because the next chapter of AI will be written in images, audio, and video, not just text. As models grow more powerful, the real frontier is how they see, hear, and create. We asked: what if the data behind those models came from the best of human aesthetic intuition, not generic annotation?
Our founder, Rithika Kacham, has walked both creative and technical paths. At Stanford she studied Computer Science and Product Design, exploring how form and logic combine. At IDEO she built design tools for clients around the world. Later, at Mercor as an early team member, she helped scale one of the top expert-annotation platforms. That journey gave her a clear vision: AI will only reach its potential when it is grounded in human sensibility. Verita AI is the result of that vision.
Today we partner with foundation-model labs, creative platforms, and product teams to build the data layer for multimodal intelligence. We deliver cinematic video, studio-quality audio, expressive imagery, and interaction data curated and evaluated by top creators, designers, and domain experts. We build pipelines, quality systems, and evaluation frameworks so those models don’t just work well, they feel right.
We are backed by a group of early believers who share our commitment to human-centered AI:
Afore Capital led our pre-seed, joined by high-impact angels including Shyamal Hitesh Anadkat Applied AI, Open AI), Gabriel Peterson (OpenAI Sora), Shelby Heinecke (Salesforce AI Research Manager), William Gaviria Rojas (CTO, CoactiveAI), Trevor O’Brien (VP Copilot, Microsoft), Auriel Wright (Product Lead, Deepmind), and Div Garg (CEO, AGI Inc.).
At Verita AI we don’t rely on crowdwork or one-size-fits-all labels. We work with people who practice craft, creative professionals, practitioners, domain experts and embed them into every project. The next generation of AI will not just generate answers, it will design, sing, compose, imagine. We are building that future on a foundation of truth.
Let’s build it together.
